Tamboran successfully completes re-domiciliation from Australia to US

Tamboran Resources, a Sydney-listed natural gas company, announced on December 7 the successful completion of its re-domiciliation from Australia to the US. This legal change became effective following the lodgement of the Federal Court orders with the Australian Securities and Investments Commission.

The re-domiciliation involves the transfer of all ordinary shares in Tamboran to a newly formed corporation established in the state of Delaware. This new entity, Tamboran US HoldCo, becomes the parent company of the entire Tamboran Group.

Tamboran initially announced its intention to re-domicile to the US in October 2023. The company believes this move will position it strategically for further growth and accelerate the commercialisation of the Beetaloo sub-basin in Australia's Northern Territory.

Tamboran holds about 1.9mn net prospective net acres in the Beetaloo sub-basin within the Greater McArthur basin in the Northern Territory. Its key assets include a 25% non-operated working interest in EP 161, a 100% working interest and operatorship in EP 136, EP 143 and EP(A) 197 and a 38.75% working interest and operatorship in EPs 98, 117 and 76 which are all located in the Beetaloo.
