The Walyering discovery was via the Walyering-1 well which flowed at 13.5mn ft3/d. EP447 which includes Walyering, covers 1,110 km2 and was acquired in December 2018. Since acquisition Strike has carried out 90 km2 of 3D seismic in late 2019 over the historical Walyering wells.

Strike operates the project with a 55% interest, while Talon has a 45% stake, having completed a farm-in deal last year.
