South Pars Phase 12 Likely to Come Online This Year

Iran is expecting to commission the first train from South Pars gas field’s phase 12 this year as work on phase 12 is 80 per cent complete.

Shana News has reported citing managing director of Petropars, Mohammad Javad Shams that onshore and drilling sectors of South Pars gas field phase 12 have made progress by 76.7 and 72 percent respectively.

South Pars gas field phase 12 aims at production of 75 million cubic meters of gas per day for injection to national gas grid plus feeding LNG units. Production of 120 thousand barrels of gas condensate and 750 tons of sulfur per day are the other aims of developing South Pars gas field phase 12.
