South Korea's DSME Wins LNG Carrier Order

South Korea’s Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering (DSME) has won an order to build a new LNG carrier for a company based in Oceania region, it said December 18 without naming the company.

The carrier will be built at Okpo shipyard in Geoje and is expected to be delivered in the first half of 2021. 

This year DSME has won orders to build 17 LNG carriers. With this order the company has achieved 90% of its 2018 target, a company official said.
