Sinopec's Yulin-Jinan Gas Pipe Sets Record

Yulin-Jinan pipeline December 15 transported its higher ever gas volume, Sinopec, which operates the pipeline, said December 23 in a statement.

The pipeline’s daily gas transmission volume on December 15 was a record 30.14mn m3, up 20.61% year on year, the company said. The pipeline extends from Shanxi province to Shandong province. It transports gas from the Daniudi field in the Ordos Basin, Sinopec’s Qingdao and Tianjin LNG terminals, and CBM fields in Shanxi province.

With a total length of approximately 1,500 km, it has a transportation capacity of close to 6bn m3/year, including 30 gas transportation stations along the way. Sinopec said it is in the process of upgrading four stations.
