Sinopec's southwest unit ramps up gas output in Q1

Sinopec Southwest Oil & Gas Co. produced 1.93bn m3 of gas in the three months to March 31 (Q1), up 26.3% year/year, its parent company Sinopec said on April 13.  

In Q1, 27 new wells were put into production, state-run Sinopec said. Sinopec Southwest Oil & Gas Co., based in Chengdu, in the Sichuan province, is engaged in oil and gas exploration, marketing and other related businesses in southwest China.
