Sinopec's Southwest Subsidiary's Gas Output Up 12%

Sinopec Southwest Petroleum Bureau, a unit of state-run Sinopec, has produced 5.07bn m3 of natural gas during the period January 1-October 9, up 12% year on year, Sinopec said October 11.

For the full year, Sinopec Southwest Petroleum Bureau’s gas production is expected to be 6.6bn m3, Sinopec said.

Sinopec Southwest Petroleum Bureau, which is located in Chengdu, Sichuan province, is engaged in oil and gas exploration, marketing and other relative business in southwest China. The oil and gas exploration area of the company is mainly distributed in Sichuan, Chongqing, Yunnan, Guizhou and Guangxi.
