Sinopec's Guangxi Unit Ups Gas Sales
Sinopec’s Guangxi unit has sold a total of 108mn m3 of natural gas this year, up 105% year on year, Sinopec said October 18.
The subsidiary’s gas sales have seen a significant increase in recent years; from 10mn m3 in 2016 to over 100mn m3 this year, Sinopec said. Sinopec's Beihai LNG receiving terminal, which became operational in April 2016, is located in Guangxi.
The Sinopec Guangxi Oil Products Company, located in Nanning, the capital of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, is involved in the marketing of oil and gas products. It has 10 regional branches in Nanning, Liuzhou, Guilin, Wuzhou, Yulin, Guigang, Baise, Hechi, Beihai and Qinzhou.
