Sinopec Ramps Up Winter Gas Supplies

Chinese state-run explorer Sinopec has supplied 21.36bn m3 of natural gas during the winter season spanning from November 15 to March 15, an increase of 25.3% year/year, it said on March 3. 

Most of the supplies came from fields such as PuguangYuanbaFuling, Weirong, and Daniudi, the company said. Sinopec has also increased purchases of LNG during the winter season. Since November 15, Sinopec has imported a total of 9.98bn m3 of LNG, an increase of 18% year/year.
