Sinopec performs its 1st LNG bunkering operation

Chinese state-run Sinopec performed its first LNG bunkering operations at Weihai, a seaport in the Shandong province, it said on September 13 via a Facebook post.

Sinopec Fuel Oil Sales Co, a unit of Sinopec, bunkered more than 250 metric tons of LNG for the vessel W0269.  Sinopec said this would contribute to emission reduction from ships and the energy transition of the shipping industry.
