Sino Gas & Energy to Accelerate 2013 Program

Sino Gas and Energy plans to accelerate its fully funded Ordos Basin work programs in 2013 with four drilling rigs currently in the field more than doubling to ten with the addition of six rigs being sourced after Chinese New Year.

Company’s current focus is on preparation of the Chinese Reserve Reports as the first key stage in the development of its PSCs to ultimately produce gas for a domestic market, Sino Gas said in a statement.

In Sanjiaobei PSC, the company has completed the third well of the six-well program with remaining three wells scheduled to spud from March.

Sino Gas has also completed the last four wells in the eight-well shallow program in Linxing East. Dewatering and fracking commenced on four of the wells, which is likely to expand to all remaining wells by the end of the quarter. Exploration well LXDG-01 is scheduled to spud this quarter.

In Linxing West, the final well of two well program, TB-12, has rig onsite and scheduled to spud in March.
