Shell picks surveyor for UK Pensacola well

Shell has hired Aberdeen-based Fugro to undertake a geophysical and geotechnical site survey at the Pensacola prospect in the UK North Sea, in preparation to drill an exploration well.

The survey will begin at the end of July and will be completed in the third quarter, Shell's London-listed partner Deltic Energy said in a statement on May 24. Drilling should start in May 2022, it said.
