Serinus kicks off seismic campaign in Romania

Serinus Energy has launched a 105-km 2D seismic campaign north of the Moftinu gas field in Romania, targeting what it sees as its highest ranked exploration prospect, the London-listed company reported on February 8.

The campaign will run for 10 days, after which the data will be sent for processing amplitude versus offset analysis. The goal is to augment existing legacy seismic data, in order to de-risk the prospect and enable the company to pick the best sites for a three-well campaign due to start in the third quarter of this year.
