Serinus Completes Romanian Well Test

Jersey-registered independent Serinus Energy announced June 26  the flow-test results of its Moftinu-1007 well in Romania.

During a final testing phase, using a 36/64-inch diameter choke, a final stable gas flow rate of 5.66mn ft3/d was achieved during a 15-hour period, said Serinus. The well is now shut-in for a 5-day pressure build-up, after which the well will be tied-in to the flowline connecting to the Moftinu gas plant, once the construction of the flowline has been completed. The company said two weeks ago that it expects to start delivering gas next month.

The site is in northwest Romania, at Satu Mare close to the Hungarian border.  Serinus owns and operates projects onshore Romania and Tunisia, but currently is only a producer in Tunisia.
