Sempra LNG Names New President

Two years after joining Sempra Energy as strategic initiatives officer, Sempra LNG COO Lisa Glatch has also been named its president, Sempra LNG said August 24.

With 30 years experience at engineering and construction companies CH2M, Jacobs and Fluor, Glatch has been COO at Sempra LNG since March 2019, overseeing the final stages of construction and commissioning of the 15mn mt/yr Cameron LNG project in Louisiana and progressing the development of the Energia Costa Azul and Port Arthur LNG projects in Mexico and Texas, respectively.

“With Phase 1 of Cameron LNG now in commercial operations, we have matured into a business that encompasses the full life cycle of LNG export facility development, design, construction, and operations,” Sempra LNG CEO Justin Bird said. “Lisa’s impressive experience is a great asset and her leadership will be key to our continued success as we look ahead to the construction of our proposed export facility at Energía Costa Azul on the Pacific Coast of Mexico.”
