Tyra accounted for 90% of Denmark's gas production until it was shut down in September last year so that a redevelopment programme could begin. Over the years the North Sea field's platforms had been sinking, requiring Total and its partners Noreco and Nordsofonden to take action. Noreco revealed last November that its restart had been postponed from 2022 until the second quarter of 2023.
