Seatrium wins contract with TMS Cardiff Gas for LNGC refits

Seatrium, a provider of marine maintenance and repair services, has secured a favoured customer contract (FCC) with TMS Cardiff Gas for the repair and upgrade of its LNG carriers, it said on February 2.

The contract encompasses the refit of 17 LNG carriers in Singapore, emphasising joint planning, information sharing, and a collaborative approach to achieve sustainable targets in quality, health, safety, and environment (QHSE).

"We have worked successfully with Seatrium on three LNG refits and we see Seatrium as the right long-term partner who understands the stringent requirements of our company," Alexandros Politis-Kalenteris, deputy COO, TMS Cardiff Gas, said. 

Seatrium operates shipyards and other facilities in Singapore, Brazil, China, Indonesia, Japan, the Philippines, Norway, the UK and the US.
