SeaBird Bags Australasia 2D Survey Contract

SeaBird Exploration has been awarded a contract to acquire 2D seismic data in the Australasia region, it said September 11 without offering further details.

The survey is due to start during Q4 2019 and is estimated to run for approximately three to four months plus mobilisation. SeaBird said it will be using the Nordic Explorer for the work.

The Nordic Explorer has recently completed its 3D survey in West Africa, earlier than expected, the company said.
