SDX announces gas find at MA-1X well in South Disouq

London-listed SDX Energy on June 8 announced a gas discovery at the MA-1X well, targeting the Mohsen prospect in South Disouq in Egypt. 

MA-1X spudded on May 21 and reached a depth of 6,400 feet. The primary basal Kafr El Sheikh target was encountered at 5,762 feet and discovered at 56.3 feet of net pay gas sand with an average porosity of 31.9%.
