Rosneft to Supply LNG to Egypt

Rosneft and EGAS have signed a deal under which the Russian firm will supply LNG to the Egyptian state owned company.

The Russian energy firm will supply 24 shipment of LNG for a period of two years with effect from the last quarter of this year.

“The implementation of the terms of the signed document will allow Rosneft to access the high growth potential Egyptian gas market and deepen broader cooperation between the two companies. In addition the cooperation with EGAS will allow Rosneft to strengthen its position in the global LNG trading market,” Rosneft said in a statement Tuesday.

Rosneft signed another deal with Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC) for supplies of oil products and LPG.
