QP, Taiwan's CPC ink LNG deal

Qatar Petroleum (QP) on July 7 entered into a 15-year LNG sale and purchase agreement with Taiwanese utility CPC Corp for the supply of 1.25mn metric tons/year of LNG. QP will begin delivering LNG in January 2022.

“We are grateful to CPC and all our customers around the world for selecting us as their trusted LNG supplier of choice,” QP CEO Saad Sherida Al-Kaabi said.
