QP Files Lowest Bid in Pakistani LNG Tender

Qatar Petroleum has put in the lowest bid for the supply of an LNG cargo to Pakistan during April 9-10, state-run Pakistan LNG said in a document posted on its website on February 20.

Qatar Petroleum Trading offered a bid with a slope rate of 10.025% of Brent oil futures. The other bidders were Gunvor, Total, DXT Commodities, Posco and PetroChina.

Pakistan has two import terminals – one operated by Pakistan GasPort and one by Elengy. Both are at Port Qasim. The south Asian country recently allowed private entities to market imported gas.
