    Qatargas delivers Q-Flex LNG cargo to China's Beihai terminal

Qatargas delivers Q-Flex LNG cargo to China's Beihai terminal

​Qatargas has delivered an LNG cargo aboard a Q-Flex vessel to China's Beihai LNG terminal, the first ever call by a Qatargas-chartered vessel at this terminal, the company said on October 18.  

The Q-Flex vessel, Al Sahla, is the largest LNG carrier to call at the terminal since the start of its operations in 2016.

Al Sahla was loaded with 205,000 m3 of LNG on September 14 at Ras Laffan Port, and called at Beihai LNG terminal, located in the Tieshan Port Industrial Zone in Beihai Zhuang Autonomous region, in the Guangxi Province of China, on October 5. The cargo was delivered to state-owned Sinopec.

The terminal, which has a nominal capacity of 3mn metric tons/year, comprises four storage tanks each, with an overall capacity of 640,000 m3.
