QatarEnergy, China's Guangdong Energy sign LNG deal

QatarEnergy has signed a long-tern LNG supply deal with China’s Guangdong Energy Group Natural Gas Co., it said on December 6.

Its LNG producing affiliate, Ras Laffan Liquefied Natural Gas Co., will supply 1mn metric tons/year of LNG to Guangdong Energy over a 10-year period starting in 2024.

Deliveries of LNG under the agreement will utilise Qatar’s fleet of conventional, Q-Flex and Q-Max LNG vessels, allowing Guangdong Energy to receive LNG primarily at the Dapeng and Zhuhai LNG receiving terminals, QatarEnergy said.​
