Qatar Signs LNG Deal with Vitol

State-owned Qatar Petroleum has signed a sale and purchase agreement (SPA) with Vitol for the supply of 1.25mn mt/year of LNG, it said on February 22. Vitol will deliver the commodity to final customers in Bangladesh. 

Under the agreement, LNG deliveries will start later this year. “We are pleased to sign this SPA with Vitol, and we look forward to commencing deliveries under the SPA to further contribute to meeting Bangladesh’s energy requirements,” CEO Saad Sherida Al-Kaabi said.
