Qatar Sells First LNG to Malaysia

Qatargas announced has sold Qatar’s first ever cargo of LNG to Malaysia.

The cargo was sold to Petronas containing approximately 3.1 trillion Btu of LNG, Qatar News Agency reported.

The cargo was supplied by Qatargas 2, a joint venture between Qatar Petroleum, ExxonMobil and Total.

Qatargas sees the South East Asian LNG market as an increasingly important growing regional market where it intends to strengthen its business activities, Qatar News Aagency said.
