Qatar delivers commissioning LNG cargo to Cnooc’s terminal

Qatargas has delivered a commissioning LNG cargo to Chinese state-owned energy company Cnooc’s Jiangsu-Binhai LNG import terminal, the company said on October 10 via a Twitter post.

The cargo was loaded in Ras Laffan on September 10 on the 216,000 m3 Q-Flex LNG vessel, Al Ghashamiya, and arrived at the Jiangsu-Binhai LNG terminal on September 26.

The terminal is located in the Jiangsu province north of Shanghai and has a handling capacity of 3mn metric tons/year. The terminal has four storage tanks each, with an overall capacity of 880,000 m3.
