Pure Hydrogen signs pact to supply hydrogen trucks

Sydney-listed Pure Hydrogen Corp has signed a term sheet for the supply of seven hydrogen fuel cell trucks together as well as hydrogen fuel with Queensland-based AKM Earth, it said on November 24.

After the recent buy-in to H2X, Pure Hydrogen’s newly established company Pure X Mobility will develop and supply these trucks for AKM Earth’s Raw Skips business. The trucks will be assembled in Australia.

Raw Skips hydrogen-powered trucks will be used for short-run, back-to-base pick-up and delivery of building waste around Brisbane, the Gold Coast and the Sunshine Coast.

The hydrogen trucks are based on existing diesel gliders with the diesel components removed and instead of using H2X’s fuel cell powertrains, Pur Hydrogen said. Green hydrogen will be provided to Pure Hydrogen by CAC H2 under the terms of the arrangements recently announced.
