PTTEP signs PSCs for blocks G1/65, G3/65

Thai state-owned PTT Exploration and Production Public Company (PTTEP) on June 1 announced the signing of production sharing contracts (PSCs) for Block G1/65 and Block G3/65, located offshore Thailand.

Block G1/65 covers an area of 8,487 square kilometers, while Block G3/65 covers a larger area of 11,646 square kilometers. These two blocks were awarded to PTTEP in the 24th Thailand Petroleum Bidding Round

PTTEP expressed its readiness to explore and develop these blocks, emphasizing the advantage of their proximity to the company's existing projects, G1/61 and G2/61.

The development of Block G1/65 and Block G3/65 is expected to contribute to Thailand's energy supply for economic growth and provide long-term benefits to the country, the company said.
