PTTEP Gets Positive Results From Cash-Maple Appraisel Well

Thailand's PTT Exploration & Production (PTTEP) has reported a successful appraisal well result on the Cash-Maple gas field.

The appraisal well, Maple -2 is located in permit AC/RL7 in the Timor Sea.

The well was drilled to a total depth of 4,150 metres on July 1, 2012. The flow rate testing indicates the rate of approx. 30 million standard cubic feet of natural gas per day (MMSCFD) and 696 barrel of condensate per day (BCPD).

PTTEP said the well results enhanced its knowledge of the resource and deliverability of the Cash-Maple field and are significant information to further justify the project’s economic viability.
