Power of Siberia resumes flow after maintenance

Russia's Gazprom has resumed gas flow to China via the 38bn m3/year Power of Siberia pipeline after a week of maintenance work, the company reported on April 7.

The pipeline, which has been pumping gas from Gazprom's Chayandinskoye field in Yakutia since December 2019, went offline for maintenance on April 1. Maintenance is undertaken twice a year in spring and autumn, with Gazprom agreeing on its schedule with China's CNPC, which purchases Power of Siberia's gas.
