PKN Orlen Refutes Allegations of Iran Dealings

PKN ORLEN S.A. has refuted new reports indicating that it was involved in transactions with Iran.

In a written statement, Poland's largest oil refiner said that reports it had purchased ‘gas condensate’ from Iran for its Mažeikiai refinery, published in some news services, are untrue.

"The ORLEN Group carries out its business in compliance with applicable laws, including any legal restrictions and international sanctions."

A report carried by the Mehr agency indicated that had transited a cargo of Iran’s gas condensate to its Mazeikiai refinery in Lithuania.
