Pilot Energy Gets Go Ahead to Farm Into Empire's Western Australia Permits

Pilot Energy has received approval from authorities to farm into Empire Oil & Gas' exploration permits in Western Australia.

The Department of Mines & Petroleum of Government of Western Australia has approved the transfer of title and operatorship to the company pursuant to its agreement with Empire Oil & Gas to farm-in to the EP416 and EP480 exploration permits.

The working interests in EP416/480 are now as follows: Pilot Energy 60 percent (Operator); Empire Oil & Gas 40 percent.

Pilot Energy is presently finalising its interpretation of the aero-geophysical survey acquired over the permits by Empire during 2015, and will provide a prospectivity update in due course.

EP416 and EP480 are contiguous permits located in the southern part of the onshore Perth Basin, on the coast of Western Australia between the towns of Mandurah and Bunbury.
