PGNiG: Time Running Out on Pricing Talks With Gazprom

PGNiG says gas pricing talks with Gazprom have reached their final phase.

In pointed news release that criticized Gazprom’s negotiating tactics, PGNiG said that it will continue to pursue discussions until the end of October, at which point Poland’s gas monopoly will seek arbitration as outlined in the contract between the parties.

PGNiG is amongst many European customers of Gazprom that have sought price reductions from the Russian export monopoly.
