PGNiG charters two more LNGCs

Polish gas supplier PGNiG has chartered two LNG carriers (LNGCs) for 10 years and potentially longer from Norway's Knutsen, the company said on July 28.

The vessels, each capable of carrying 174,000 m3 of super-cooled gas, will be delivered in 2024, PGNiG said. The company chartered two other LNGCs from Knutsen in 2020. It is looking to build up its LNG trade operations ahead of a planned expansion in Poland's regasification capacity.
