Petronet LNG's New CEO Assumes Office

Akshay Kumar Singh has assumed the position as managing director and CEO of Petronet LNG, India’s biggest LNG importer, the company said on February 2. 

Kumar began the role on February 1 and has been appointed to the post for a period of five years. Prior to this, he was serving as director of pipelines at state-run Indian Oil.  Petronet LNG operates two LNG import terminals, one in the state of Gujarat and one in Kerala.
