Petronas eyes oil, gas projects in Bolivia

Malaysian state-owned energy company Petronas is interested in exploration and investment projects in Bolivia, Bolivian State Petroleum Corporation (YPFB) said on September 29.

The officials from the two companies met during the Rio Oil and Gas conference, which was held from September 26-29 in Rio de Janeiro.

YPFB's president Armin Dorgathen Tapia said the company was looking to expand globally and plans to work with other companies in the hydrocarbon sector specialising in the natural gas value chain.
