Petrofac Scores UK Service Deals

UK oilfield services company Petrofac has secured a three-year framework agreement to provide services to London-listed operator EnQuest in the North Sea.

The deal for the supply of engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning (EPCC) services covers work at EnQuest’s North Sea and onshore assets, Petrofac reported on December 12.

“We very much look forward to building on the success of our existing relationship with EnQuest by safely supporting it to enhance recovery and extend field life in the North Sea,” Petrofac’s managing director for engineering and production services Nick Shorten said.

Petrofac also bagged a second two-year framework deal for EPCC services with an unidentified southern North Sea operator, with options to extend. The company it had now received seven framework agreements for services this year, “demonstrating its continued focus on the growth of its brownfield projects business.”
