Petrofac Scores $100mn in UK Contract Renewals

Petrofac's engineering and production services division has secured two three-year contract renewals in the UK worth over $100mn, the London-headquartered firm said on May 6.

The renewals, awarded by an unidentified international oil company, involve the provision of duty-holder support services for an offshore support vessel, and operational and maintenance services for an oil and gas development project and a gas terminal, Petrofac said. The work is for a long-standing client, it said.

Petrofac suffered a setback in April when the UAE's Adnoc cancelled awards valued at $1.65bn for work at the Dalma sour gas development.
