PetroChina’s Tangshan Terminal Achieves Milestone

State-owned PetroChina’s Tangshan LNG import terminal has received 200 ships since the start of operations in 2013, CNPC, PetroChina’s parent firm, said February 13.

PetroChina operates three LNG import terminals - Jiangsu, Tangshan and Dalian. The Jiangsu terminal is located in Jiangsu province; Tangshan terminal is in Hebei province and Dalian in Liaoning province.

Owing to strong demand for gas, in 2018, the three terminals received record volumes of LNG. The three terminals, in total, received more than 15 million metric tons of LNG last year for the first time ever.
