Pertamina EP's 2018 Gas Production Surpasses Target
Pertamina EP, a subsidiary of Indonesian state-owned Pertamina, produced 1,017mn ft3/day of natural gas in 2018, 103% of the target of 986mn ft3/day, Pertamina said January 22.
Company’s total oil production was below the annual target. Pertamina EP produced 79,690 barrels/day of oil or 96% of the target of 83,000 b/day.
Total oil and gas production last year was 255mn boe/day, 101% of the target of 253mn boe/day, Pertamina said.
Last year, company’s major oil producing areas were Asset 4 and Asset 5; while top gas producing assets were Asset 2, Asset 4 and Asset 5.
Pertamina EP’s net profit last year was $753mn, Pertamina said without giving year-on-year comparison.
