Pavilion Energy appoints Alan Heng as group CEO

Singapore’s Pavilion Energy has named Alan Heng as group CEO, effective from April 1, the company said on March 18. Heng is currently serving as interim group CEO of the organisation.

“Alan has been a steady partner in Pavilion Energy’s business since the company’s inception. The board is confident that Alan, together with the rest of the leadership, will ensure strong progress towards achieving our vision as Singapore’s global energy merchant,” Pavilion Energy chairman, Tan Sri Mohd Hassan Marican, said.

Heng joined Pavilion Energy in 2013 and has over 34 years of experience in the energy industry, including having held various management positions in ExxonMobil.

Pavilion Energy is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Temasek. Its global energy business encompasses natural gas supply and marketing activities in southeast Asia and Europe; and global LNG trading, shipping and optimisation; as well as energy hedging and financial solutions.
