Pakistan Seeks Three LNG Cargoes in November

State-owned Pakistan LNG (PLL) has invited bids for the supply of 420,000 m3 of LNG during November, according to tender documents issued by the company on September 9 and 15.

According to the September 15 tender document, PLL is seeking one 140,000 m3 LNG cargo for delivery during November 15-16. The September 9 document is for two 140,000-m3 cargoes for delivery during November 8-9 and November 18-19 respectively.

The cargoes will be delivered on ex-ship basis to the floating terminal operated by Pakistan GasPort at Port Qasim near Karachi “or such other LNG terminal within Pakistan as may be advised by PLL”. Pakistan at present has two import terminals – one operated by Pakistan GasPort and one by Elengy. Both terminals are at Port Qasim.
