Pakistan seeks eight LNG cargoes

State-run Pakistan LNG (PLL) has invited bids for the supply of eight 140,000-m3 LNG cargoes during December and January, according to tender documents issued by the company on September 11. 

PLL is seeking LNG cargoes for delivery on December 6-7, December 10-11, December 15-16, December 26-27, January 14-15, January 19-20, January 24-25, and January 29-30. The tender closes on October 11.

The cargoes will be delivered on an ex-ship basis to the floating terminal operated by Pakistan GasPort at Port Qasim near Karachi “or such other LNG terminal within Pakistan as may be advised by PLL”. Pakistan has two import terminals – one operated by Pakistan GasPort and one by Elengy. Both are at Port Qasim near Karachi.
