Pakistan Petroleum Finds Gas in Sindh
Pakistan Petroleum (PPL) said May 7 it has discovered gas with the exploration well Unarpur-1 ST-1, located in the Kotri North block in Jamshoro district, Sindh.
The well flowed approximately 18.5mn ft3/day of gas, the company said in a notification to the Pakistan Stock Exchange.
PPL holds 40% working interest in the block while United Energy Pakistan owns 50% and the remaining 10% interest is owned by Asia Resources Oil.
