Oz State Gas Updates on Queensland Gas Project

Australia’s State Gas January 8 said it has started workover activities to complete the Serocold-1 well, at its Reid’s Dome gas project in Queensland, for production testing.

The production test will be started following the installation of surface facilities, expected to be at the end of next week, the company said. The Serocold-1 well was spudded in December last year.

In addition, State Gas has cross-verified the Nyanda-4 flow rates employing a critical flow prover as well as further investigation of backpressure. “We expect to have the results of this process early next week,” it said.
