OMV Boss: Which pipeline moves Caspian gas, is 'besides the point'

Kurier reports comments attributed to Gerhard Roiss, Chief Executive of Austria's OMV, a shareholder in the Nabucco Gas Pipeline consortium.

Mr Roiss apparently stated that his interest was that Caspian gas should flow thought the Austrian hub of Baumgarten.  Which pipeline delivered the gas, was 'besides the point'.

Were bookmakers to provide odds on the competing Southern Gas Corridor pipelines, we might find Nabucco's odds slipping quickly from its once front runner status.
