Oman LNG, Shell sign deal for carbon neutral LNG

Oman LNG has signed an agreement with Shell to supply carbon neutral LNG cargo from its plant in Sur, it said in a brief statement published on Twitter on June 8.

"The cargo is the first carbon-neutral LNG from the Middle East using nature-based carbon credits to offset full lifecycle CO2 emissions generated across the LNG value chain,” Oman LNG said.
