OGDCL Strikes Gas in Pakistan's Sindh Province

Oil and Gas Development Company (OGDCL) March 13 said that its has discovered natural gas and condensate with exploration well Chhutto-1, in Pakistan’s Sindh province.

The Chhutto-1 well was drilled to a depth of 3,820 metres and tested 8.66mn ft³/day of gas and 285 barrels/d of condensate.

The discovery of Chhutto Well-1 has opened a new avenue, OGDCL said. OGDCL has a 95% stake in the joint venture with Government Holdings, which has the remaining 5%.
