NV5 lands award to update LNG for US utility

Florida-based environmental and engineering firm NV5 Global said August 4 it had secured a multi-million-dollar contract to support upgrades to a US utility company’s LNG facility.

An undisclosed utility in the US Northeast awarded NV5 a $16mn contract to update the facility to accommodate upswings in demand.

NV5 is tapped with providing engineering and procurement services for the update. It already secured a contract for engineering design at the same facility, which is expected to be online by July 2022.
