NV5 lands award to update LNG for US utility
Florida-based environmental and engineering firm NV5 Global said August 4 it had secured a multi-million-dollar contract to support upgrades to a US utility company’s LNG facility.
An undisclosed utility in the US Northeast awarded NV5 a $16mn contract to update the facility to accommodate upswings in demand.

NV5 is tapped with providing engineering and procurement services for the update. It already secured a contract for engineering design at the same facility, which is expected to be online by July 2022.
“The demand for modernisation and expansion of LNG facilities continues to be strong, and we are pleased to contribute to the safe and reliable delivery of energy to our clients’ customers,” said Peter Dirksen, the president for LNG services at NV5.
